1st Quarter of 2024 Updates

News:

08/2023: Addition of stainless models:

after overwelmind demend decided to add limited run of 75 units of stainless models.

They will cost an additional $1200 on top of the cost of standard models.

And will come later then standard models, we will need additional 6 month produce stainless parts.

07/2023: Nine unique Prototypes of 2023 testing:

During testing of early production frames, we have developed 9 unique prototypes,

they are created using older style slides and new style frames, this was done to speedup testing of the frames,

these 9 prototypes are not production units, they have there own numbers from 001-P to 009-P,

and will be available for sale at $8000 each after they have played there roll in testing of the frames.

Testing started in September and have been going well.

2024 is the 8th year of manufacture for our 45 Lugers.

The 45 Auto Luger 1907 model  is currently manufactured and available for sale in limited quantities.

We are working on producing 200 units this year, and it is taking us longer then expected.

Current progress: All small parts in quantities of 200 units have been produced, as of 12/2022.

We have been working on producing frames from that point on.

First frames came off new machines in May of 2023.

We have been testing several prototype models in September of 2023.

As off January 2024 we starting to assemble production units, our hopes to minimize hand fitting,

did not play out as we expected, as a Luger such a  complicated gun, it is still very much a hand fitted gun

For early order for people that have placed there orders while ago, we hoping to make delivery by end of 1st quarter of 2024

The current delivery schedule for new orders is 8-9 month from time of order.

History:

Production of a Classic 1907 Luger Replica started by LugerMan Inc in 2018

Manufacturing is based on the blueprints taken off the original 45 ACP Luger made at DWM Germany in 1907 under supervision of Georg Luger himself for US Army Trials of 1907 for a new 45 caliber handgun.

Our version of the famous 1,000,000 dollar handgun has undergone 6 month of RND, 10,000 rounds of testing with 12 different manufactures of ammo. Some modifications were needed to make the Luger 45 a reliable shooter with modern ammunition.

Our Luger 45 is milled out of solid block of a 4140 high quality steel. All parts are produced in the United State on CNC milling machines at LugerMan Inc. at our new building in Langhorne PA. Every part is made in house. Our Classic 1907 models are finished with Classic Slow Rust Blue finish with fully checkered walnut grips.

Identical in looks and function to a Classic 1900 – 1906 – P08 Model Lugers, Luger 45 Classic Model is fitted with a grip safety and a loaded chamber indicator. The Luger has been prized as a natural pointer because of the comfortable  grip angle. The Luger is also known as a soft and accurate shooter because of it’s unique toggle action. The short recoil travel of the toggle assembly and lighter weight of moving parts makes felt recoil virtually nonexistent. The iconic looks of a Luger are recognized by everyone and have been admired by collectors for generations.

Current Development:

All Luger 45 models produced after 2020 will be manufactured differently with some internal components modified to streamline manufacturing.

This will allow us to bring our Luger 45 to market with a lower price point.

We have been working for most of 2021 to upgrade our machines and manufacturing processes.

2022 has been difficult for most suppliers, our hopes and expectations did not exactly match reality.

We ordered two brand new CNC Milling Machines in March of 2021,  they have arrived and started producing parts in November of 2021.

We have been working overtime to bring the product to market, first units produced on new CNC machines are expected to ship at then end of 2023.
